A group of re-enactors dressed in period garb fire off a Mountain Howitzer during the anniversary of the Fetterman Fight on Thursday, Dec. 21, 2023 at Fort Phil Kearny. The Howitzer was not of the type used during the fight but it has similar mechanics so was a good stand in.
