Ted Dawson competes in the bench press during the inaugural Johnson County A-Team special olympics powerlifting competition on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2024 at the Bomber Mountain Civic Center. Around ten Special Olympic athletes competed in powerlifting. It was a non-sanctioned event. Weight equipment was brought down from Forge in Sheridan and many local businesses helped sponsor the event.
