Maggie Chapin checks out her newly snagged book for January Jubilee. It's the first day of the cross-curricular project, and every English student fmust choose a book on which they will base a series of individual and group assignments. It's the third year the English department has run this kind of event, this year choosing Westerns as the theme. Students weren't allowed to check out their books until the last bell rang on Monday, after which they rushed the library en masse.
